Russia reports that Ukraine attacked Crimea with missiles.
According to official statements from Russia, Ukraine has reportedly initiated an assault on the residence of its Black Sea fleet in Crimea, employing a total of ten missiles and three unmanned boats.

According to Russia, the incident resulted in a substantial conflagration at a shipyard in Sevastopol, leading to injuries sustained by a total of 24 individuals.

The governor appointed by the Moscow administration, Mikhail Razvozhayev, asserted that a significant portion of the weaponry had been successfully intercepted.

Russia has reported that two of its naval vessels sustained damage due to impacts from cruise missiles.

An image disseminated by Mr. Razvozhayev on the messaging platform Telegram depicts a conflagration engulfing a structure resembling a maritime vessel situated within a harbor, as he is observed engaged in a telephonic conversation.

The prevailing belief is that the incident occurred within a region designated for ship maintenance and repair. However, there remains uncertainty on the extent of potential damage inflicted upon any vessels present in dry dock, including a submarine.

Photographic content disseminated across various social media platforms, pending verification by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), depicts a series of substantial detonations transpiring within the vicinity.

The occurrence of certain missiles successfully bypassing Russia's air defense systems and causing significant damage is likely to evoke genuine apprehension within Moscow.

According to the defense ministry of the country in question, seven missiles were successfully intercepted, while all three unmanned boats were rendered inoperable. The Ukrainian government has refrained from issuing any official statements regarding the attack on Crimea at present.

In 2014, Russia engaged in an unlawful annexation of Crimea from Ukraine, thereby exemplifying a struggle for dominance over the region's waterways. Ukraine has continuously expressed its enduring objective of reclaiming the peninsula.

Ukraine has previously directed its attention towards Sevastopol and the Black Sea fleet, although the current offensive appears to be one of its most coordinated and concentrated efforts to date. There are lingering uncertainties surrounding the weaponry employed in the aforementioned strike. While several sources propose the utilization of long-range missiles provided by Western nations, there is also speculation that Ukrainian-manufactured Neptune missiles may have been deployed.

The Neptune missiles gained significant notoriety for its utilization in the sinking of the Moskva, which served as the flagship vessel of the esteemed Black Sea fleet.

According to reports, the Ukrainian grain port of Izmail, situated on the Danube river, has allegedly suffered damage as a result of actions carried out by Russian drones.

According to the governor of the Odesa region, Oleh Kiper, a total of six individuals sustained injuries as a result of the attack, leading to a fire outbreak and significant damage to the infrastructure.

According to Mr. Kiper's statement on Telegram, many drone formations were deployed in the Izmail district.

Regrettably, instances of impact were observed, resulting in recorded harm to the port and other elements of civil infrastructure.
