Yemi Afolabi, one of the demonstrators, claimed that Mohbad was a budding artist whose beacon was put out of commission when he was just starting out.
"His music spoke to us, and he had a bright future ahead of him. We can't accept his passing without explanations. Justice must be served for Mohbad.
Nobody will be able to accept what happened to him. Before he was killed, Mohbad disclosed all the people who had tormented and sought to kill him.
"There are numerous videos that show him being bullied, assaulted, and degraded. He even petitioned the police about all he was going through, but nothing happened until he passed away," he claimed.
The demonstrators demanded that the investigation into Mohbad's killing be completed quickly and that those responsible be brought to justice.
They emphasized the necessity for an open, unbiased investigation that is free from improper influence or deception.
