Goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke has stated that Enyimba's absence from competitive games won't have an impact on the team when they play Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the African Football League.
In the first round of the competition, the two-time champions of the CAF Champions League will play the North African team.
Ojo stated that the team is putting in a lot of effort to prepare for the match.
On October 20, the opening leg is scheduled to take place at Godswil Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
The Enyimba skipper told iGONG, "The team is in very good physical condition, and we are working incredibly hard ahead of the competition."
"Our performance during the competition will not be impacted by our lack of competitive matches."
