Ogun tribunal dismisses the PDP's challenge while upholding Gov. Abiodun's election

The election of Governor Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been affirmed by the Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.

The petition filed by Ladi Adebutu was deemed "incompetent" and subsequently dismissed by the three-member tribunal presided by Hamidu Kunaza.

During an extensive 11-hour reading of the verdict, the tribunal rendered a decision in favor of Abiodun's election, while simultaneously dismissing Adebutu's petition.

The tribunal rendered a unanimous verdict, stating that "the petition is devoid of merit and is consequently dismissed."
