Nwoke, a PDP lawmaker, calls on Nwifuru to increase security and employment creation in Ebonyi.
Victor Nwoke, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, representing the Abakaliki North Constituency, has provided an assessment of Governor Francis Nwifuru's initial period in office.


The user commended the governor for addressing the communal conflicts that affected multiple communities within the thirteen Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state.


Nwoke, who engaged in a conversation with journalists in Abakaliki subsequent to a gathering with his constituents, expressed that the governor's initial 100 days in office may not be sufficient to expeditiously fulfill all the aspirations of the populace.


According to the speaker, Governor Nwifuru's accomplishments during his initial hundred days in office are noteworthy, particularly in relation to the salary increase for workers aimed at mitigating the impact of subsidy removal on the state's populace.


The allocation of positions to young individuals, development of infrastructure, particularly in rural regions, revitalization of the educational sector, namely the endorsement of the EBSU subvention fund, the safeguarding of lives and assets, and particularly advocating for peace in conflict-ridden communities.


Nwoke, on the other hand, urged the governor to enhance the industrialisation of the state. He emphasized the need for more emphasis on human capital development and industrial growth to generate additional employment possibilities.
