Noelia Voigt of Utah is named Miss USA 2023.
Noelia Voigt of Utah has been selected as Miss USA 2023.

Following the competition on Friday at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, Voigt was hailed Miss USA 2023.

Voigt won the coveted title by defeating Miss Hawaii Savannah Gankiewicz, who came in second, and Miss Wisconsin Alexis Loomans, who came in third.

The crown was given to Voigt by Morgan Romano, who succeeded R'Bonney Gabriel as Miss USA 2022 when Gabriel won Miss Universe.

Following a regulation by Miss Universe that has permitted married women and mothers to compete for the first time in its seven-decade history, the 72nd pageant also featured the first married state titleholder.

Before changing into an arresting gem-covered gold gown to be crowned Miss USA, Noelia Voigt, 23, exuded glamour in a silver dress with a thigh-high split.

With her explanation of what she would add to the Miss Universe organization as a "brand ambassador," Noelia won over the judges.

She responded, "I think the ability to connect with people is an incredibly important asset that a Miss USA should have," according to Parade.

The United States of America is undoubtedly one of the most diversified countries in the entire planet. So it's crucial to be able to communicate with everyone.

Because the United States of America is a diverse nation, "As a bilingual Venezuelan-American woman, I plan to connect with that community of people because a Miss USA needs to be able to represent every community no matter their background, their race, their ethnicity, or anything else, and I would like to be that Miss USA."
