This was stated in a statement made on Monday in Lokoja by Uredo Omale, the Polytechnic's Head of Public Relations and Protocol Unit.
Omale warned the general public to take note that the material is entirely untrue, deceptive, and dishonest.
"The attention of Kogi State Polytechnic Management has been drawn to a purported job opening offer currently circulating through a faceless and fraudulent channel," the statement said in part.
"The Polytechnic is not currently accepting job applications, has no affiliation with, and is unable to be associated in any way with the bogus portal via which prospective applicants were encouraged to submit their applications.
Therefore, the Polytechnic wishes to caution the general public and job searchers to beware of the scam and steer clear of the fake source.
She urged the general public to frequently visit the Polytechnic website, kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng, for the most recent details on the institution's programs and activities.
