Enyimba, the defending champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), defeated Bayelsa United 4-1 in a preseason friendly at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.
Enyimba's Chijoke Mbaoma gave them the lead after 25 minutes.
Before the end of the first half, Eze Pinto extended the lead for the defending NPFL winners.
After a blunder in the Bayelsa United defense, The People's Elephant got a third goal in the 65th minute through Joseph Atule.
In the 85th minute, Atule scored his fourth goal to put the Restoration Boys out of the game.
Isaac George helped Bayelsa United cut the deficit in half toward the end of the contest.
Both clubs utilized the friendly to gauge how prepared they were for the upcoming campaign.
Next month, Enyimba will take part in the African Football League's inaugural tournament.
