The APC ward chairman explained his version of events, saying: "I was assaulted in my home by the power-drunk Commissioner for Women Affairs and her son in front of a police officer.
"I was playing Ludo at home. She suddenly appeared with her son, another male, and a police officer. The policeman informed them that I was required at the Oke-Agbe station when they arrived. The Commissioner's son lunged at me and began to assault me before I could react. In fact, he tore my garments.
"He thrashed me with the help of his mother, the commissioner. The police officer they brought was around throughout the entire time.
However, it was impossible to contact the commissioner to get her account of what happened. According to reports, she was admitted to and getting care at an unnamed hospital.
