Anambra CP visits the relatives of the deceased police officer
Mr. Aderemi Adeoye, the commissioner of the Anambra State Police, has paid a visit to the family of a police officer who was killed in a car accident in Enugwu-Ukwu last week.

The police officer, ASP Anthony Ogbodo, was on a motorcycle when he was struck by a shuttle driver. After being sent to the hospital for treatment, he passed away.

Adeoye visited and prayed with the family, according to DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, a spokesperson for the Anambra State Police Command who revealed the visit.

Ikenga stated: "CP Adeoye assured them that justice would be swiftly meted out on his tragic demise and prayed to God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss."

In a recent discussion with journalists, Adeoye said that boosting the morale of his soldiers was a key factor in the command's success under his leadership.

He had also praised the inspector general of police for protecting the wellbeing of cops and noted that the packages for deceased policemen had been improved.
