Seun Kuti, a well-known Afrobeat musician, has said that the Big Brother Naija reality program ought to have been created so that young people might provide solutions to Nigeria's problems.
This was said by Kuti on Monday during a Spade TV Africa interview with Gbenga Aborowa.
The musician offered his thoughts on the BBNaija program and suggested that effective measures to improve the country will benefit more from the success and viewership of the reality program.
"BBNaija is the way it is because it was created to be that way by specific individuals.
"The show's creators may have decided that it would include young people discussing national problems and proposing solutions, with viewers casting votes for the best one.
That implies that young people are shifting their focus from entertainment to national development solutions.
