Why performing stand-up is more difficult than writing skits - Lasisi Elenu

Nosa Afolabi, nicknamed Lasisi Elenu, a well-known comedian and skit creator, has claimed that stand-up comedy requires more work than creating skits.

The comedian from Kwara recently talked about the disparities in pay and amount of labor required for stand-up comedy versus skit-making in an interview with Hip TV.

"Both [stand-up comedy and skit-making] have a different feel," stated Lasisi Elenu. Stand-up comedy is under a lot of pressure. You must be at the top of your game and have a variety of materials on hand so that, in the event that one is used and isn't very excellent, you can always improvise. But now that I've become used to it, I can make skits whenever the mood strikes, even when I'm asleep. I am adept at tuning myself. Yes, both stand-up comedy and creating skits are profitable. Basically, it depends on how you channel.

In actuality, what matters is not how hard you work but rather how intelligently.

"So, it's not about producing the most parody films; it's about how effectively you direct the videos to the appropriate plugs and brand them so that you can profit from them. Stand-up comedy or crafting skits, in my opinion, can help you achieve your financial goals.
