Following a DNA study of the victims recovered from the plane crash on Wednesday, Wagner head Yevgeny Prigozhin has been declared dead, according to Russian officials.
The identities of all 10 victims have been determined, according to the Investigative Committee (SK), and they matched those on the flight's passenger list.
On August 23, Prigozhin's private plane crashed northwest of Moscow, killing everyone on board.
Rumors that the Kremlin was responsible for the crash have been refuted.
The SK declared that a criminal investigation was ongoing.
It issued a statement stating that all molecular genetic testing had been finished.
The identities of all 10 deceased have been determined, and they match the list that was published in the flight manifest, according to the study's findings.
Several top members of Wagner, a Russian mercenary organization founded by Prigozhin and engaged in military activities in the Ukraine, Syria, and parts of Africa, are among the victims.
Dmitry Utkin, who oversaw Wagner's military activities, was one of them.
Wagner members Valery Chekalov, Sergei Propustin, Yevgeny Makaryan, Alexander Totmin, and Nikolay Matuseyev were among the other passengers on the Embraer Legacy flight from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
Alexei Levshin, Rustam Karimov, and Kristina Raspopova were the pilot and co-pilot of the aircraft, respectively.
Two months prior to the incident, Prigozhin had led a Wagner mutiny against the Russian military, taking control of Rostov in the south and threatening to march on Moscow.
After a compromise was struck that resulted in the relocation of the Prigozhin and Wagner fighters to Belarus, the standoff was over.
However, the mutiny was referred to as a "stab in the back" by Russian President Vladimir Putin, and there have been rumors that Russian security forces were somehow connected to the accident.
The Pentagon stated that Prigozhin was likely killed in the crash, and US officials were quoted by CBS as saying that an explosion within the aircraft was the most likely reason.
Rumors of foul play, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, were a "absolute lie" on Friday.
Mr. Putin has expressed his sympathies to the victims' families.
His assessment of Prigozhin was that he was "talented" but had "made grave errors in judgment."
