Two brothers are abducted by bandits in Kaduna

A health worker and his brother have been abducted by suspected bandits in Wusasa, Kaduna State's Zaria local government area.

On Friday, August 25, 2023, about 9 p.m., robbers broke into the area and began firing randomly to scatter the audience before selecting Yushau Peter of St. Lukes Hospital Wusasa and his brother, Joshua Peter, as their targets.

Wusasa's village chief, Engineer Isiyaku Ibrahim, confirmed the event to Daily Trust on Saturday.

"The kidnappers have made our area the target of their attacks, abducting many of our people so often," he stated.

Natives of the Ikara local government, Yushau and Joshua just fled for their lives after robbers raided their home and kidnapped their elderly father, Mr. Peter.
