Three people are reportedly dead after being crushed to death by an unregistered truck on the Ogijo-Mosimi route in Ogun State's Sagamu Local Government Area.
The accident happened on Tuesday about 10:25 p.m., according to Florence Okpe, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) state spokesperson.
She claimed that the unregistered truck struck a tricycle bearing the license plate LSD175QM and then fled the scene.
She claimed that the collision included six people, of whom three perished.
"A total of six people were involved, including one female adult, one female youngster, and four male adults.
"Two adult males and one adult female sustained injuries. Two adult males and one female child made up the total number of fatalities from the collision, according to Okpe.
She claimed that when the families of the deceased received the bodies, the injured victims were transported for medical treatment to Dasochris Hospital in Gbaga.
"The Sector Commander FRSC Ogun Sector Command, CC Anthony Uga is pained over the recklessness of some motorists not considering other road users and he emphasised the need to use common sense speed limit to avoid RTC," she said.
