Renowned vocalist Elton John, aged 76, was admitted to a medical facility subsequent to a fall that occurred at French villa

After spending the night in the hospital after falling at his Nice property, Sir Elton John is now back at home.

The 76-year-old singer received minor injuries treatment at the Princess Grace hospital center in Monaco's orthopaedic unit after being transported there.

Sir Elton was admitted "following a slip yesterday at his home in the south of France," a spokesman told iGONG.

He said, "Elton made a cautious trip to the neighborhood hospital.

He was quickly freed this morning after check-ups, and he is already back at home and in good health.

Following the conclusion of his protracted Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in July, Sir Elton and his partner David Furnish and their two sons have been spending the summer in France.

He had just finished a career-spanning headline show on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival a month earlier.
