Reduced road accidents are promised by FRSC in Taraba.

Road collisions in the state of Taraba would be reduced to an absolute minimum, according to the FRSC's Taraba State Command.

Speaking to reporters on Friday in Jalingo, Sector Commander Abdulmaliq Bello stated that reducing and, if feasible, ending road fatalities is his top objective in the state.

He declared, "I'm fighting for a world where accidents don't kill people; there may be collisions, that's fine, but they shouldn't kill people."

Speed Limit Devices, according to Bello, have been successfully enforced by the command and are producing fruitful effects.

He added a dedicated team assigned to the command has made it their mission to tour the various motor parks every day to educate drivers on the importance of exercising caution behind the wheel in order to prevent accidents.

While acknowledging that there are many potholes on Nigerian roads, he said that the presence of speed restriction signs on major thoroughfares is sufficient to deter drivers from overspending.

To be honest, there have been fewer traffic accidents in the state as a result of the command's relentless education program.
