Police and the So-Safe Corps apprehend two alleged buglers in Ogun and recover stolen live turkey and home items.

Two members of a gang terrorizing Oke-Ejigbo in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, have been detained thanks to the combined efforts of police officers and members of the So-Safe Corps.


The Ogun State police command's spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, stated in a statement that the syndicate was busted and the accused were taken into custody on Sunday, August 20.


She revealed that the agents followed them to their home, where they recovered a variety of domestic items, including a plasma television, a generator, and handsets.


A live turkey, food, and various other items that were allegedly taken were also found on the accused, Kolawole Shobowale and Moruf Soyoye.


The PPRO added that community members, particularly those who have recently had their homes broken into, have continued to swarm the Oke-Itokun Divisional Police headquarters to identify some of their stolen property. The suspects have admitted to the crime of breaking and entering into dwelling houses and shops, according to the PPRO.
