Man two Wives Stabbled by Suspected Rapist

Two housewives and their husband were stabbed in Suleja, Niger State, by a suspect in a rape.

One of the victims reported that the incident happened on Friday night at approximately 11.30 p.m. on Kaduna Road in Suleja, amid a significant downpour.

Our spouse was spending the night in the first wife's room, she continued, when the man pried open the door to my own chamber.

Then, while holding me by the neck and striking me with a knife at the same time, he dragged me into bed and ordered me to keep quiet.

Zilfa Umar, the first wife, who also spoke, claimed that she and her husband were drawn to the argument and hastened over to the victim's chamber.

When our reporter went to the house, the husband, Mallam Umar Abdullahi, was reportedly absent because he had gone to the Suleja Police Area Command, where some suspects connected to the case had been detained.

When reached, the area commander, ACP Muhammad Sani Musa, confirmed that a suspect in a related case had been detained and turned over to his command from the same neighborhood by security vigilantes.
