It's too soon to comment on Ukraine's counteroffensive, a US general claims.
In its counteroffensive, Ukraine is contending with significant Russian reinforcements, including minefields, tank ditches, and dragon's teeth anti-tank barriers, according to US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley.

Milley declared on Thursday night that "the Ukrainians still have a significant amount of combat power; this is not over yet."

Therefore, in my opinion, it is still too early to determine if it has succeeded or failed.

"Clearly, it's only been somewhat successful thus far. Now, the offensive is moving more slowly than the planners anticipated, Milley said in an interview with Jordan's Al-Mamlaka public service television news program.

In several locations across Europe, Ukrainian forces are receiving training in "command and control of offensive formations and combined arms manoeuvre."

"Once more, it's sluggish, bloody, and protracted. And we foresaw that a few months ago," he added.
