In Kaduna, troops defeat three robbers and seize weapons and ammunition.

The Nigerian Army reported that in Kaduna State's Chikun Local Government Area, soldiers from the 1 Division neutralized three bandits and recovered weapons and other items.

One AK-47 rifle, two locally made AK-47 rifles, seven AK-47 magazines, and eight motorcycles were found during the operation, according to a statement by Musa Yahaya, acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations, 1 Division, Nigerian Army.

Three locally produced magazines, six mobile phones, narcotics, and charms were also found, the statement said.

According to the report, Maj. Gen. BA Alabi, General Officer Commanding, 1 Division, Nigerian Army, and Force Commander, Operation Whirl Punch, has praised the brave soldiers for their accomplishments and ordered them to keep up the pace and aggressiveness until all criminal elements have been fully eliminated.
