Daniel Bwala, an adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party's presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has encouraged President Bola Tinubu to nominate a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, as a minister.
Bwala, in a post on X on Monday, urged the president to select FFK, stressing that his experience as a former minister will benefit his government.
"I call on President Tinubu to take Femi Fani Kayode's appointment as a minister of the republic into consideration," he stated.
"Femi has put in adequate effort, just like every other appointee, but aside from that, he will have an impact on PBAT's government because he is a pragmatic individual with prior experience.
Fani-Kayode will 'work far better' than some ministers, according to Bwala, who also expressed his confidence in her.
"I have never discussed this with FFK; in fact, we have only ever met twice in this life, once before he joined the APC and once at the SSS HQRs, where he was attending a fellowship. However, I am confident that FEMI will do much better than some current employees.
Fani-Kayode served as the Tinubu/Shettima Presidency Campaign Council's Director of Special Media Projects, Operations, and New Media.
Remember that on August 21, President Tinubu swore in 45 ministers who had been approved by the Senate, surprising Nigerians who expected to see major names like Fani-Kayode, Faleke, Onanuga, and many others who were well-known for their significant contributions during the election campaign, absent from the list.
