Bola Tinubu urges members of the cabinet to exert all efforts towards the revitalization of the Nigerian economy.

On Monday, President Bola Tinubu issued a directive to his ministers, urging them to utilize their authority and resources to expeditiously facilitate the transformation of the Nigerian economy.

The individual issued the directive during the maiden session of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), which he chaired at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

During the meeting, which had a duration of around three hours, the cabinet of Tinubu deliberated on the "Roadmap for the Economy" that was presented by Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the economy.

During a subsequent briefing session with State House Correspondents, Edun made the observation that the current state of the economy does not align with its expected trajectory.

The individual disclosed that the Federal Election Commission (FEC) conducted an analysis of eight key areas of focus and established specific objectives to be achieved within the upcoming three-year period.

Edun further confirmed that President Tinubu has instructed the ministers to implement policies and initiatives aimed at revitalizing the economy.
