Benjamin Pavard, a defender for Bayern Munich and France, has signed a contract with Inter Milan.

The terms of the transaction have been agreed upon, according to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, with a medical scheduled for Wednesday or Thursday.

The 27-year-old will be acquired by the Nerazzurri for about €30 million plus €2 million in add-ons.

Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Bayern Munich, is reportedly only willing to let Pavard depart if the team can find a replacement for him.

The deal fell through after Harry Maguire's prospective transfer to West Ham United fell through. The Frenchman has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United.

The Lille youth product Pavard has made 163 appearances for Bayern after transferring from VFB Stuggart to the team in 2019.
