Abduction of the APC organizing secretary in Kaduna

Hon. Kawu Ibrahim Yakasai, the All Progressives Congress' (APC) organizing secretary, was taken hostage in Kaduna State.

Former Soba Local Government Chairman Yakasai was kidnapped from his home in Yakasai village on Friday night at 10:00.

According to Daily Trust, it was learned that the thieves seized him without his will after particularly targeting his home.

Mohammed Lawal Shehu, the governor of Kaduna's chief press secretary, confirmed the occurrence and stated that the governor has ordered security agencies to find the kidnappers and ensure Yakasai's safe return.
