Martin Wanyonyi, a Kenyan politician, has charged Chinese contractors with establishing relationships with women in his district rather than concentrating on building projects.
The Webuye East MP in Bungoma County expressed gratitude to President William Ruto for the Misikhu-Naitiri-Brigadier's ongoing construction but claimed that the women in the area are distracting the Chinese residents.
Wanyonyi stated that he had observed children of Chinese heritage in Bungoma on Sunday, August 27, at an interdenominational church service that was attended by the President and his deputy, Rigathi.
"Work is still ongoing on the Misikhu-Naitiri Road. When I went there, I was shocked to see children with little eyes.Contractors have stopped doing their duties and have instead started raising families. Your Excellency, kindly assist us in unlocking and completing the road.
The congressman urged the vice president to improve Bungoma residents' representation in government posts during his remarks.
