4 people are killed by bandits as they round the Zamfara settlement.

No fewer than four people from Gidan Damo village in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State have been reported killed as armed bandits stormed the village on Wednesday night and shot seven people.

In a phone chat with DAILY POST, a local who begged to remain anonymous described the attack as horrible.

He said that the robbers rode their motorcycles into the area and began firing randomly.

Four of the seven people who were shot in our town were immediately pronounced dead, he continued.

He went on to say that the people fled into the jungle for protection, and some of them were unable to locate their loved ones.

When asked if there were any kidnappings during the incident, he responded, "We cannot be sure as of now if the terrorists abducted some of our people because, as I am talking to you now, I am hiding inside a farm for safety."

The banditry situation in Zamfara has gotten worse, according to information obtained by DAILY POST. In the previous two months, bandits have been active every day.
